      You know... I read about all that, so I was aware of it before I picked it up. However I testing, I didn't have any issues like that. You didn't compare the noise levels at peak production rates, which shoot up all the way to 100dB+, so this is a biased test to make them seem quieter, but they are absolutely anything but quiet. Great machine no doubt, but this amount of noise level made it an instant return for our family.

    After spending hours watching tutorial videos trying to figure out how to operate this dishwasher, I've come to the conclusion that it's overly complicated and poorly designed. Nearly all the reviews I've found echo the same sentiment-this thing is a nightmare to use. First off, the control panel might as well require a degree in rocket science to decipher. Elon Musk would probably call it a "dumb design," and I couldn't agree more. Who needs a half-inch thick manual just to figure out how to turn off the drying cycle? To add insult to injury, they want to charge me $5.00 just to answer a basic question about the settings. And don't get me started on the layout of the buttons-they're so awkwardly placed that I have to open the dishwasher door just to see or press them. Why not have buttons on the front like a normal dishwasher? You know, with clear labels for Normal, Heavy, Delicate, High Temp, No Heat Dry, Start, and Cancel? And please, no dual-purpose buttons that work only when you release them! And speaking of confusing, what's the deal with the Auto cycle? It shows the same time frame for both half load and full load. Does the left arrow mean wash the top load and the right arrow the bottom load? It's baffling! Is it too much to ask for intuitive controls that actually make sense? To make matters worse, pressing start often results in no countdown and no action. Is there a reset button somewhere hidden in that dense manual, or is this thing just defective? Oh, and about those annoying chimes and sounds-it's impossible to turn them off, despite following the manual's instructions. And what happens if there's a power outage while the dishwasher is running? How on earth do you resume the cycle once the power's back? And here's the kicker-the app that took over 2 hours to get working is completely useless because the dishwasher powers off when not in use, which also turns off the WiFi. So much for starting it remotely! You have to manually go to the dishwasher to start it anyway. And why are they not 5G? Guess they are saving a buck by using outdated tech. And let's not forget-I can't even figure out how to set the darn clock. It's not in the manual! I honestly wish I had my old dishwasher back. Save yourself the headache and avoid LG dishwashers like the plague. It's a disaster waiting to happen and not worth the frustration.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal 3 дня назад

      I didn't have too many issues with mine, but there's a lot of features in there I just skipped also. If Elon made it, I think it would have robot arms on it that just put your dishes away for ya too. In order to get stuff to dry properly, I always just left the "extra drying" option turned on, and it ran fans to help out. The heated drying on that thing just uses residual heat from the last heated rinse cycle to dry the dishes, and I didn't feel like that did enough and left dishes wet. There isn't a heating coil to do the drying on these. Some kind of energy saving thing.

    • @deanelliott169
      @deanelliott169 3 дня назад

      @@JoesPhenomenal On most dishwashers you can open the door after the wash and dishes dry quickly from heat evaporation. On this one you have no idea when wash cycle is complete. I don't know why they turn off the selection lights it's easy to accidentally press another button when rushing to slam the door shut in 4 seconds. Then with the lights out your not sure what cycle is running. So open the door back up. press power and press power again and start over.

      @JoesPhenomenal 3 дня назад

      Yeah... I felt it should be a little bigger too. It's a good option if you don't have gas cooking, since you don't have a flame to come up the sides of the wok. The shape might have something to do with how far the induction coils can be curved around the bottom or something like that.

  • @deanelliott169

    After watching videos trying to figure out how to work this thing without enrolling in a rocket science college course, I have found 90% BAD reviews and most people are really struggling to figure these super complicated controls out. I would definitely recommend NOT buying one of these. As Elon Musk would say, "THIS IS A DUMB DESIGN." WAY, WAY, WAY OVER COMPLICATED FOR A DISHWASHER. I AM FEELING RIPPED OFF. 1/2" thick manual! WOW. I just bought it today and they want $5.00 to answer my question of how to turn drying off.

I had a laminate floating floor and after several years, a flood wherein the remediator removed baseboards and quite a few sections of floor as they had been destroyed. It is! I just got shipping confirmation on the butcher block and appliances.... Almost there! Almost done dumping money into it too, thank goodness.

    This is assuming your walls are plumb. I renovated an office for our business in Europe, Central Europe… let’s just say the builders preferred to drink vodka 500ml bottle before work back then

      Yuuup... Remember, this is in a Tuff Shed.... There's a whole lot of plumb and leveling issues in here.... Had to compensate with shims and such.

    Nice. I live in Tucson. The only IKEA store in Arizona is in Pahonics; 250 mile round trip. Hard pass.

      Yeah... That's far.... My local IKEA is about 140miles round trip for me though since I moved out of Vegas... They delivered all that stuff for 50 bucks... Nice!
